Exploring is an exciting Scouting America program focused on careers. Exploring Clubs are open to youth 11-14 years of age, and Exploring Posts are open to Scouts 15-20 years of age.
Post and Club 1836 is focused on careers in Aviation. From ground operations, airport operations, air traffic control, and airframe and powerplant, aviation related careers are a huge part of Oklahoma. The Post has access to several aircraft and offer ground school and pilot training opportunities, and the Post runs a frequent Aviation Merit Badge program serving Last Frontier Council Scouts; Scouts from other Councils are also welcome.
Registered Scouting America youth can join the Aviation Explorer Post at no additional cost and take advantage of both programs.
The Post has an informational video:

Planning, places, and preparation needed to incorporate scout spirit in your den meetings, pack meetings, and activity.
Leaders & parents, aka: adults, must model the behavior that they want from the youth in their unit(s). If you want to see the youth grab the scout spirit and run with, then I challenge you to put your guard down and show the scout spirit as leaders.
Because many packs and troops meet at one location during their designated time as a unit and then disseminate after flags, safety moment, and announcements into their dens and patrols. It is important to have an outline or a schedule planned and in place to make sure the meeting isn't late or doesn't get off the rails by the game.Cub Scout SongbookL Cub-Scout-Songbook-33222.pdf

Den Meeting Planning
Den meeting should be focused on advancement, but using time in the meeting to work on the song, skit, and/or run-on that the youth will participate in during the next meeting or event.
Den meeting don't have to be a the same location as the rest of the pack as long as the all the Barriers to Abuse, Guide to Safe Scouting, and Safeguarding Youth policies are met.
